AbilityFirst Stroll and Roll

 

With the help of partners and celebrity champion/actress best known as "Becky" from Glee, Lauren Potter and honorary chair, Jaclyn Smith of Charlie's Angels alongside NBC4 ,"Today in LA" anchor Whit Johnson and meteorologist Shanna Mendiola (and with a little extra support from Dora the Explorer, Curious George and Spongebob Squarepants) AbilityFirst held another successful Stroll & Roll!

Each year, this event helps AbilityFirst to raise money for the 91 year old organization's programs and services including, Camp Paivika its 70 year old summer camp based in the San Bernardino mountains.  

The Stroll & Roll fundraiser is the one time a year when AbilityFirst staff, its participants, their families, corporate partners, donors and friends all rally in support of the agency's mission of serving children and adults with disabilities. More than 2, 400 registrants came together to raise funds, but more importantly, have fun! The event was held at the Universal Studios legendary, behind-the-scenes backlot, with a goal of raising $920,000.
