Community Service Fund
In 1939 the Rotary Club of Los Angeles created a trust for charitable purposes. In 1953 the trust was succeeded by the Rotary Club of Los Angeles Foundation, a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, which receives, holds, and manages a fund to be held in perpetuity. Funds for charitable giving by the Rotary Club come from two sources: (1) Foundation earnings and (2) member annual contributions to our Community Service Fund (CSF). Requests for charitable giving are reviewed by the Community Services Grants Committee which makes recommendations to the Board of Directors. All charitable donations are approved by the Board.
The Rotary Club of Los Angeles Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization; donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
