Meet the woman behind CBS's hidden film gems. Terry Press is responsible for all aspects of the mini-major, including creative, distribution, marketing and physical production. Under her leadership, it has produced and acquired numerous hits, including best picture nominee “Hell or High Water.” Earlier in her career, she was owner and principal of 7570 Marketing, where she consulted on CBS Films releases. She also had a hand in Steven Spielberg’s “Lincoln,” David Fincher’s “The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo” and “The Social Network.” While running marketing for DreamWorks SKG, she oversaw live-action and animated features.
As a key figure in the industry, Terry has been vocal about its need for improvement. She herself stood up against the Academy of Motion Pictures and threatened to resign if Harvey's Weinstein membership was not revoked. But when allegations against her boss, Les Moonves, emerged, she was forced to reconcile herself with the person she knew to the person in the stories.
