A Pop Culture Historian, Scott Tracy Griffin has been writing publications since 1993. His work has been featured in Cinefantastique, FilmFax, Femme Fatales, The Burroughs Bulletin, Mississippi Magazine, Prehistoric Times, and AlterEgo. One of his most recent pieces is his book, Tarzan on Film, which traces the cinematic journey of this legandary tale through the years.

Scott's work with Tarzan didn't start with his latest book. Before Tarzan on Film, he had another named Tarzan: The Centennial Celebration (Titan Books, 2012). And before this, he played a significant role in providing knowledge with regards to this icon. Numerous publications have traced Scott's continuous work with this legend. Following the King of the Jungle, he has served as a consultant as well as an interviewee for numerous documentaries, all to help explain the journey of this mythical giant. He also wrote a 13 week arc for Tarzan, the 1996 Sunday comic strip.
