In 2005, Baroness Kimberly Moore founded The Echelon Club. This Los Angeles Based organization consisted of a great many influential individuals who wanted to make a difference in the world. Its creation eventually led to the development of the Kimberly Moore Foundation. This foundation has sponsored a countless number of programs and campaigns, such as "Adopt-A-Letter," which has delivered the holiday wishes of over 40,000 underprivileged children and "Keeping Harmony Alive," which funds music departments within public schools. Her work in this area was recognized by the Mayor of Bell Gardens when she supplied the music department at Bell Gardens High School with enough instruments to keep the program going for the next 15-20 years.
Shortly after receiving this recognition, Moore was awarded a Lady of Peacemaking medal, the Humanitarian Award from the Hollywood Musical festival, and an Order of Royal Crown from the International Royal Courts. And in 2009, President Malam Bacai Sanha of the Republic of Guinea Bissau named her the first Goodwill Ambassador to the United States. She's been honored with the Key to the City for Bell Gardens, Panchimalco, and Aguileres. Moore was also recognized in the 16th Annual Woman's Image Network Show as well as Time Magazine's Person of the year.
In her spare time, Moore continuously performs volunteer work. She's been working to find sustainable solutions for the people in Libia, as well as promote education for women and young girls.
