Celebrating & Serving Our Community
Eight years ago visionary Rotarians from the Rotary Club of Los Angeles (LA5) saw an opportunity to provide holiday toys and needed food to youth and families in underserved South Los Angeles. From a church parking lot, the Angel City Celebration has grown to be Rotary’s largest service project in greater Los Angeles. Now encompassing most of a large park, LA5 is joined in partnership with District 5280, Rotarians from clubs throughout the District, and the Los Angeles County Parks & Recreation Department, as anchor partner.
The event features components to improve quality of life for deserving families with young children in South LA including a free pancake breakfast, exhibitors providing a wide range of physical and mental health resources and screenings, and information about and access to services information as well as the toy give-away.
This year’s Angel City Celebration will be held Saturday, December 8, 2018 at Franklin D. Roosevelt Park, 7600 Graham Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90001.
We are looking forward to have another wonderful event this year!
